U*Path is Lion Sailing's carbon thread technology. On the CU* inventory it is built as a filmless carbon membrane. On some headsails the same thread map sits between film, or an optional taffeta. In every case the sail is not a conventional panel design.
Shape comes from where the carbon is dense and where it is not. Load moves gradually through the membrane. The result is an ultra-light upwind sail with close to zero stretch, which is why the loft puts U*Path on race mains and jibs rather than on running kites.
The shop code is CU*. A J1R, J2R or J3R in carbon CU* is a U*Path sail, cut for a different wind band on the same thread idea. SuperLite is the downwind cloth. It is a different product.
