Lion Sailing's Lioness won her first race under new ownership at the 2026 Edlu Race, hosted by Larchmont Yacht Club.
Conditions ran from sunshine and light air to rain. Lioness finished third on elapsed time, then corrected to first overall and first in her division by 1 hour 12 minutes.
The team took the Wilfred Kluss Trophy for the best corrected time in Division II, the Edlu Trophy for the best time-adjusted performance in the judgment of the Race Committee, and the Fresh Face Trophy for the highest-performing yacht that had not previously sailed the Edlu.
