Upwind sails built from cut panels in Dacron, polyester laminate, aramid, or carbon. The loft joins the panels to the shape, as Paneled for cruising or Paneled for racing. On the quote form, pick Paneled when you want a woven or laminate sail rather than a Stride membrane or a Mane carbon tape build.
Carbon tape, laid on a flat table along the lines the sail is loaded on. More carbon where the corners and the leech pull hardest, less where they do not. The structure is designed with the shape, not cut from a roll.
