Stride is Lion Sailing's carbon thread technology. The yarns are the structure. The face is a choice: raw carbon for the lightest race build, film, or taffeta for a longer campaign. In every case the sail is not a conventional panel design. Load moves through the yarn map instead of through a seam, so the loft puts Stride on race mains and jibs rather than on running kites.
The shop code is ST. A J1R, J2R or J3R in carbon ST is a Stride sail, cut for a different wind band on the same thread idea. SuperLite is the downwind cloth. It is a different product.
