What a weekend on the water in New York Harbor!
Congratulations to our Lion Powered teams on an outstanding showing at the 15th Annual Liberty Cup Regatta, hosted by Liberty Yacht Club on September 19-20. With the Manhattan skyline as the backdrop, the Liberty Cup brought together a strong fleet of sailors from across the Northeast for two days of competitive racing in one of the most iconic sailing venues in the country.
And the Lion boats came ready to race:
Skyfall in 1st Place, PHRF Spin B
Konionia in 2nd Place, PHRF Spin B
Sixty Four in 2nd Place, PHRF Spin A
That makes three Lion Powered boats on the podium across two competitive spinnaker divisions: a fantastic result for the teams and crews who put in the work all season.
From sail selection and tuning to rig setup and the countless small details that make the difference when the racing gets tight, we're proud to see Lion Powered programs turning preparation into results.
A huge congratulations to all the sailors, skippers, and crews involved. New York Harbor looked good in Lion colors!
